Hey guys! I'm from Switzerland and I would like to pass my summer in USA or Canada for skiing.

I watched for whistler but the price for the park is so expensive (camp of champion), same for mt. hood (windells). Where can I go for 'normal' prices? Do u know something?

Thx

other than beartooth, woodward, AKAMP which is in quebec, i dont really know of any other places thhat have summer skiing. why dont you just go to squaw?

Can we ski during the summer in squaw valley? I can's find any informations about that... Is there a snowpark?

in Europe your glaciers are probably as or more accessible and much more affordable for you. You could think about going to New Zealand or South America where it's winter...I hear SOuth America is really cheap, but there would be more big mountain riding than parks.

Yes our glacier are very good (saas fee, 2 alpes, hintertux,...) but I want to go outside europe. I've already checked for NZ and south america but it's very expensive (fly ticket). I don't understand something in the US and CA; all the snowparks are private (camp)? The resort proposes no snowpark?

Whistler does have a public park but it's nothing like coc or momentum. Just dress in enough tall t's and you can blend in with all the campers.

Ok nice, do u know the prices and when it's open and close? I think i ll go there ;) Do some camping! aha (didn't understand ur second sentence)...

Get a summer pass to Timberline (Mt. Hood) and camp at the airstrip for free. Save mad $$$$ by NOT doing a camp like windells.

i lost. i love your internet accent.

but seriously, we don't have as many glaciers over here in North America as you do up in the alps therefor it's way more expensive. theres no cheap places so ski in the summer as far as i know.

you could go to Virginia slowflex, its not real snow but i'd kill for it since its 3 times bigger than my local hill anyway.

Man stay in Europe. The glaciers in Europe are less expensive then in N.A. plus you will not have to pay for a plane ticket. If you want to do some real skiing go to S.A where it is actually winter. I don't know to much about skiing down south, but you get pow not park.
