US vs. Canada

So I know this is probably a pretty common thread but i wanna ask anyway. Im in the early stages of organising a season in Mammoth/Whistler for the 09/10 winter and i was wondering which is cheaper, easier to get a job, better etc out of the two? Any help would be sweet
 
with the canadian dollar so low i'd say whistler will be cheaper.. no matter how inflated to prices. but housing will be nearly impossible.
 
yea man canada is soooo chill but what he said, gettin a place relatively near whistler would be a bitch, then you would have to pay for gas whicih is like 80 or osmething up here? so that's also something you might wanna take into account

Come to Canada! If you're just in a ski town for skiing I'd say it doesn't really matter anyway. Whichever is cheaper is what I'd pick.
 
The olympics are going to be in whistler in 2010 so it will be even harder to find a place to live. I would chose whistler i have heard nothing but good things.
 
If you're going to go to Whistler I would suggest living in Pemberton which is 20 or so minutes away. Squamish would be alright to but its even farther. Whistler is expensive as shit though.
 
i would go work at big white. i like it alot more then whistler, and its not that hard to get housing
