whats a good shop to get binders mounted?

US outdoor charged me $50 for a mount then mounted 8-9cm back from core center when I specifically said 5cm back to the desk and left a note on the ski. I told them I dont want another mount and they said they wont and they'll have to talk to the tech who mounted them on monday. i dont want to mount them again cause that will total 3 different mounts. I'm assuming they'll buy my skis from me since they fucked up. There goes my $600 brand new Comi's

anybody have advice on if I should be expecting them to buy them back? what are my rights?

mt.hood alpine racing center. bob is the best and the cheapest i have found. i think he charged me 30 to mount my hellbents, and charged me wholesale for the jesters that went on them($220)

The guys here are reliable, but 50 dollars for a mount is retarded, i heard meadow lark in sandy does them for like 30

ski chalet on BHH is good. Its usually dead in there so you can talk to the dudes without them being super distracted. usually the guys you talk to are the guys who are going to mount your shit. theyll probably even let you come back and watch if your not a goomba.

yeahh i love ski chalet. the guys in their are so chill! one of ems sammys brother, zach. go to ski chalet to support them! they need it.

US Outdoor has a great selection, but they seem to always be staffed by the epitome of Portland Hipsters, and they don't negotiate at all...I've tried...numerous times

I would personally go to Hillcrest or Mountain Shop...when it's not busy b/c both places get crazy on weekends

Hillcrest ftw. When I needed my vist deadbolts mounted EVERY shop whined about how they didnt have the jig wah wah. Guy at hillcrest was like "what a bunch of pussies, we'll mount them by hand"

I am also fairly certain it was us outdoor that screwed up the mount on my friends brand new 4frnt's last season.

okay totally. next adventure is so legit its not even funny $30 for a mount. super chill takes like 2 days to get it done. and they're super friendly!

They gave him a crappy $50 of store credit or something and of course mounted them correctly. He was lazy and didn't raise a stink like I would have.

they had me pay $250 for new comi's and got to keep my old pair. in the end they left the customer $250 in the hole and I called them everyday for a week. one guy did work hard for me but the rest of the shop kept trying to push me away with giving me store credit.

and I guess the shop tech was told the minute before he mounted my skis to put them -5cm back. they were -9cm back. I dont want to bad mouth them but everyone should know so it doesnt happen to them
