Us open....

I am suggesting that it wasn't a freakin lottery, as far as I can tell the really good kids who entered the lottery got in. Yep I said it. Did anyone get in that shouldn't like me? :) Just as well, would have been an expensive trip.
 
Well I supposedly have a spot but I have yet to get my confirmation email.

Does that mean I didnt acctually get in?
 
i say that for the aspen open, anyone who got in to the us open shouldnt get into aspen cause usually it is a bunch of the same people plus snowboarders.
 
I might just email them telling them that a kid named Evan Heath is going to try and get a media pass just so he can poach on the event. Yeah I might just do that.
 
How would I be poaching the event? I just want a reason to go and watch. They are very strict about people hitting the course and if you don't have a bib you get slayed. I don't want to get a media pass to poach I just want to film my friend.
 
last year Copper had a bunch of kids and parents and $$$$ show up for the event I wonder if this will end up hurting Intrawest. The finals went way long it was cold as shit the sun was going down (went down) by the time I got to the bottom of the hill. Just thinking out loud.
 
good luck getting a credential for just filming ur friend... i tried that last year for the vermont open, and thats just the vermont open and i didnt get one. let me know if you get that.

Great story...

saturday, overshoot a jump landing wih my leading outside edge dug in, slapping to packed snow. Shattered Kidney (5 different lacerations, kidney is in 5 pieces) and a collapsed right lung. In the hospital all week, just started eating and drinking thursday. Yesterday I got an email from the people at USO - I got a spot.

I'm out for 6 months, no physical activity whatsoever. If I can't find a kid on my team who needs it I will most likely be offering it up on here so keep your eyes open.
 
that's me. My spot is up for grabs if anyone wants it, pm me. Knees are gay, sorry about that other guy with the kidney, i gues things could be worse on my side over here. Get well soon, Hopefully Ill be back on the snow in march.
 
Im not that fantastic of a skier, no sponsors or anything and I got in...even witha blown out knee!
 
i got an email on december 14 and i got in. two days late. haha i was so happy when i got the email today. i will see you guys up ther.
