Lads, those are the results.

Turns out, Tanner pretty much fucking rules the comp scene right now. Good for him, cause guess what ? We need a kid like Tanner to attract big sponsors money and get those sponsors into the game. There is not enough money to support all the hard work that goes into the game by so many skiers we all look up to. There is no way we can say that 15,000$ a year is worth risking your permanent physical health. It's about time we get a kid like Tanner to shake the ski industry and make them realize that there is potential for 100+$/year payable exposure.

Yeah, at least one kid gets to make his living off of skiing. I guess it is better that he's making boatloads of money than having each comp split between people for the long run, as Garret said...but shit man he's my age!

 
I watched the video from the XGames slopestyle...Tanner is just stoked all the time. Everything was so flawless and smooth. Even his mom was going nuts...

seriously, at the xgames, cr was better than him, and steele was about the same i think. I havent seen the us open footage yet, and i hope its not the same case. dont get me wrong, hes a good skier, but there better skiers

Cr's style is kinda sloppy, tanners more smooth. Its not really my place to criticize ppl that are that good but thats my opinion.

There's never any variety in skiing comps. Either Olsson, Easly, Johnson, Candide or Tanner will win every comp this whole year.

In snowboarding pretty much everyone has a equal chance of winning going in. In skiing its so obvious whos gonna always win.

Kinda boring, it like 'wow, Tanner won again, yay.(sarcasm)' It's just not that big of a deal anymore. Later

 
give it a few years to get more people at the top in the sport. snowboarding's been around for a lot longer than freesking. for awhile in snowboarding it was craig kelly at the top of the world cup and it's the same thing with freeskiing. when more skiers develop their skills to the point of olsson, easley and tanner the field will be larger

i think the only thing that put tanner over the top of Jon and CR, is that S rail in the top section. He owned that rail, when no one else had a chance. I think if they didn't have that rail this year someone else would've won.

 
Jon should have won the x games slopestyle. his tricks were almost the same as tanners, except he did a

switch rodeo 5, not just a switch 5.

d-spin 9, not a d-spin 7

switch misty 9, not a switch 9.

his run was more technical and more stylie, but tanners was a bit cleaner. and he did some unnatural rail slides.

jibs and rails are cool but i don´t think they should mean THAT much when judging. after all it´s skiing and not inlines and the jumps should matter the most.

i made $$ off of tanner and raps cause i sold em a bag. i hope he keeps winning cuase he is the shit and it's funny how consistant he is with upsetting everyone in every comp. tanner has style.
