us open registration is closed?

if its true it sucks.i got registered but my brother is telling me that its closed. that sucks for him. guess he wont be there to enjoy the fun.

 
oh well,

everybody who made it, me included, in was extremely lucky. at least its still gonna happen. better luck next year to all of those who missed it.

i dont get it i have been i front of the comp. screen all morning and the second the reg. page came up i could not get any of our riders, that are not on team lists, in. They should change the name from the Us Open to the US NeverOpen, this comp has just become an invite only, the whole reason for having an open is that everyone can enter. even the Vans triple crowns dont fill up that fast.

 
this really really sucks because alot of people who have to go to school etc. that can't just sit in front of the computer screen didn't get in who may have been more deserving than others. good for our sport that so many kids wanna go kill it, but they should have more slots, with another day of qualifying etc.

 
I'm not registering or anything but looking from the side of things that is royally fucked... For fucks sake cant they make this shit workout for everyone cause I bet there is going to be a lot of people whou shouldnt of even signed up who took spots of kids who might of killed the whole thing. What is even the number of people that are allowed to register?

skiing comps are getting out of hand. x-games is all invite. most of the open is invite. orage masters is invite. x games quals (if they exist) are primarily invite too i believe. what about wsi is that like this too?

it definately wasnt an hour, because i was leaving class every fifteen to thirty minutes to check...probably opened the second i left the lab.

i heard it was done in 22 minutes... it was over 2 and a half hours late opening... i am stoked i got in

fucking gay. some peeps have to work. i had to register on my lunch so i missed it by like an hour. im fucking pissed at that gay shit.

 
i just happened to be on the computer after my bio test, and i reloaded the registration page and it was there... that was about 11:35 mst.

good news. despite the hitty news that slopestyle is closed, halfpipe is still open. i know some kid who signed up like a half an hour ago.

 
i tried to do it at 1 and it was closed. what a bummer.
