US Open moves to copper

Heh... I would LOVE to do that contract... be so much fun to actually build something sweet for the Open!

 
Make sure it never goes to the East coast, thats all that matters, moving it there would be like moving a car race to a parking lot.

You don't need a big mountain to build a sick park. Matter of fact, many of the East coast parks are WAY better than west coast ones, because we have nothing else to do.

 
no not a chance i was there last year for the season and had a blast. staff accomadation is a 5 second walk from the pro room the the hill, guest are the best by far in any resort ive worked (snoeshow WV, nesiko japan, fernie and thredbo australia) really laid back i spend a weekend in vail cause my mate was there and was over it after friday night the people are dicks there. it will be sick copper has a ausome night life.
 
I was messin, there is a legend out west that you guys have the country's biggest table at mt. snow, and loon put on a big park this spring.

snowboarding's usopen is at stratton and they pipe is fucking massive, i think the east could handle it
 
true dat. i fuckin hate vail. iff copper gets their shit together on the jumps this year, itll be sick. beside hopefully itll force them to make a kick ass park this year
 
doug this question is kinda directed towards you, but will the setup even change if skiing mag is still the main sponsor? like are they having the same course designers or is it going to be the same designer, because i dont really think that the venue is what makes the course, its the people who are designing it. if its the same designer it will just be moving a shitty course a half hour away
 
I pray to god for perfect weather or there will be a ton of knuckling. At gravity it seemed that even the best guys had some trouble clearing the jumps.
