Round two of the US Open is almost over and Tiger, Furyk, and David Toms are tied for the lead at 1 under. Looks like the cut-off is going to be +7, this is one of the hardest majors I've watched. So who do you think will win?

I personally think Tiger will win but I wouldn't be surprised if either Graeme McDowell or Jim Furyk win.

that chip from the rough straight into the hole from that fat dude was money. i shit when i watched that

i catch a few updates throughout the day and see a few shots. shit looks totally brutal. like pins 3 feet from the edge of greens that fall downhill into a bunker. people are narrowly missing puts and they're rolling forever. i can't imagine how frustrating it would be to be off by just that much and still have a touch shot to make on the next one. it's like those fucking mini putt holes where its all uphill into the cup, and if you miss your ball fucking rolls back down to you..

Loving how this course is playing, I hate when a major comes around and the course just got pounded with rain making it play so easy....when the course is rock hard with the deep rough like it is at olympic you have to play perfect and make good shots, if you don't you are fucked....and thats whats happening here.

Shit there is a 17 year old amateur Beau Hossler who is +3 it'd be sweet to see him win.

But I want Tiger to win, just so everyone shuts up.

Tigers life got fucked by the media, granted what he did was wrong in the publics eye, but give the man some goddamn space, I personally would love to see him win this and many other majors in the upcoming years!

Tiger's got that old look in his eye back and he seems to be feeling his game but most importantly he just seems so much more mentally stable than the other players atop the leader board. I'm on the hype train for Tiger to take it this year and I can't wait to see him do it!

I'm super stoked to see Tiger doing tied for the lead! I watched him all day yesterday and most of his round today and he looks really good. His putter has really been working for him for the first time in a couple years. Hopefully he can pull off win!

Some of the holes are pretty dumb though, like 17, tiger ball shouldn't have traveled like 35 yards after hitting that type of shot off the green... But at the same time I do like difficult coures, but a bit overkill in certain location imo.

Golf Channel just showed the movie The Greatest Game Ever Played. Pretty sure they aired it because the 17 year old made the cut.

Hope he wins, that would be sick.

It's gonna be Toms. The guy's on fire and the unknowns consistently win majors and then become famous for the next season

dont count him out just yet, if he comes out hot tomorrow and makes a few birdies and puts some pressure on the leaders he can make a run, but its improbable

hes guaranteed in to any college he wants... he was already a sick player though. i think hes won a handful of ajga's and other invitationals.

What is the reason behind this I am curious? Like I know if you're in college your not allowed to in all, but do those rules apply to high school as well? Pretty stupid imo if true.

Correct. If he turns pro he can't play college or pennant or anything. If he won the us open as an amateur the prize money would be epically outweighed by the amount of sponsors waiting for him to finish college. Not to mention all the exemptions that come with it. The prize money is just the cherry on top.

we'll see how he plays today. 4 bogeys yesterday and still hitting puts short.

thompson just had a great putt for birdie

i'm sad at turned it on late today, missed the first hour :(

ya that would be pretty amazing. those putts coming up short are whats really gonna kill tiger. if he's only gonna be at par for most holes there's no way he's coming back

ya, missed that putt and now shooting for a double bogey. hossler had a bad first drive but looks like he salvaged it out of the rough

god, i always root for tiger but watching the third right now just hurts, i feel like after the first two holes he's just given up maybe? I'm still sticking with my initial prediction though either McDowell or Furyk, Tigers out.

Great putt from Hossler. It would be good to see Tiger make a push, but it's not looking like today is going to be the day....

i went everyday except today, i live in the city..it was sick to watch, especially hossler, the amateur whos scraping..tiger blew up, no surprise
