US designs new $100 bill and causes confusion

On da real though, The new 100 is crazy... So much shit going on on it. The reverse looks pretty cool too.
 
I read the thread title and came in here to post about my experience in Mexico recently where they wouldn't take the new $100 US bills because they've never seen them before and thought they were fake.
 
Nah- just tried to buy stuff at the Chedraui and then again tried to use one at my hotel restaurant.
 
what part of mexico was that? ive been here for three months and didnt anywhere accepted us dollars. then again i havent really tried, and the furthest north i have been is mexico city, and nowhere on the tourism path really.
 
hurry up and change the colours of each individual note value... pretty sure a gave a bum 50 bucks when i was there... it's retarded... and stop using fucking paper, shit gets ruined
 
The new 10's come out in Canada a little more than a month ago, and theyre already bent and crinkled to fuck
 
heres the actual new ID retard. looks pretty good in my opinion. for those who dont know, mini image is a transparent cutout. blurred the info so you guys dont stalk/kidnap/rape/sell into slavery the person on the ID (a friend, it is not me)

Tulum. In my past experiences most places in the Playa Del Carmen and Tulum areas have accepted US.
 


I went through the Mexico City airport twice on my latest trip and will never visit that hell hole again. Worst airport ever.
