US Canada border and skiing

US has had more COVID deaths than Canada has had cases, i don't see the border opening soon unless there are severe restrictions.

Yeah I think you'd be hard pressed to find a Canadian who would like to see that border open in the foreseeable future.

And that's even with the temptation of being able to see Baker from my apartment.

Sorry guys - you can keep your rad mountains this season and we'll take good care of ours until you're cool to visit.

Technically you can fly into Canada, you just have to quarantine for 2 weeks (or say you're going to).

Take a look at these numbers and tell me it's worth it...

Locals at interior BC mountains (Red, Whitewater, Revy, etc) are going to have the season of a lifetime with absolute minimal crowds. So jealous. Just hope the mountains are able to make enough money to stay open.

The cops actually check people's quarantine location to make sure you're there. In many cases several times over the two week period.
