Urgent: need help!

Hi, i was planning on buying some PE's off ebay (i was the winning bidder with £142- cheap for UK!) for some 179 pe's used for one week. The previous owner had them mounted with 'salomon equipe 900 bindings on which are the 8 hole per binding and were drilled for a 315 sole length boot'. Just wondering whether i should worry about this and whether or not i should buy them. Will this seriously affect the skis? Im 5'11, 175, and about a size 10 shoe (uk size, sorry dont know US sizing- hope some of u do!) Probably will mount them with s810 or s912? bindings. Possibly LOOK PIVOT 12 JIB bindings.

After years of not skiing and very little ability when i used to, im going to start again this july/august at the local snowdome. Im wanting the skis for once i can ski well (first good parallel skiing, then... whatever else!... then ill use them for rails/jumps)

So any help on whether i should buy these skis or not would be great, asap as the seller will probly get pissed if i dont buy them soon! (payin by cash on delivery)

Well, you ARE leagally bound to buy them since you are the winning bidder....

But to your question, get them. Your shop will fill the holes and you can mount your new bindings no problem. Skis can be mounted 3 times without any structural damage.

yes, it will be fine. but you have to buy them anyways. you won the auction, you entered a legal contract. read ebay if you dont know this.

just get them and have them heli-coiled (or whatever its called) and you will be fine.

Duff Man: Duff Man... says a lot of things! Oh, yeah!

ok i most probably will. and im pretty sure ebay couldnt claim my money as the description didnt actually say that the bindings were removed, hence holes. false advertisement

You would never win that argument about not knowing about the holes. You knew that they were used and that bindings were not on them now...so there HAVE to be holes in the skis you were bidding on. You are bound to pay, just to let you know.

Ebay will only step in if a product is GROSSLY misadvertised. Like used skis being sold as brand new or the wrong size, something like that.

sometimes people dont sit around on ebay, give the guy a few days he'll get back to you

well i got a response.

the holes arnt filled but it shouldnt be a problem as i guess that wherever i get my bindings fitted they will fill the holes and redrill them. the bindings were fitted for a size9 uk boot, im a size 10 shoe so im guessing a 10 boot.
