Urgent Marker griffon help!

So i just upgraded from the squire to the griffon. The shop took off the squires and i just got my griffons and i am now trying to mount them. i got the front piece and with white plate the tail piece goes on mounted to the ski. The problem is that no matter what i try i cant get the tail peace to slide into the right position on the white plate. please help.

You are turning the screw on the back of the tail piece, right?

look at the bottom of the heel piece turn the screw till it goes flat on the bottom... does that make sense? haha

I HATE the Griffon's track, it's super annoying. It's been awhile since I've put them together since I don't like them too much, but if I remember correctly, you mount the plate to the ski, and push the heel piece from the back while turning the screw that adjusts the track, eventually it will click into place and you can just turn the screw from there.
