URGENT**- Do K2 skis come factory waxed

all skis shiped from the factory have been waxed so the bases dont dry out when you get them but its always best to slap on another coat to speed em up a bit

skis are tuned up the best they will ever be when they leave the factory, in terms of thier basses and edges, but they will dry quickly if you ski them without waxing them

when you buy a ski, it's pretty much ready to rock. unless you prefer certain detuning techniques, just go out and ride. wax them when they start to get slow.

well seeing that lines are made by k2 they are probably the same and yes i just got some and they were waxed with fucking razor blade edges

Any and ALL skis are pre-waxed before shipped out to retailers and consumers because if they weren't, the bases would dry up in transports and in most warm weather where these retailers are located, INCLUDING Line. As mentioned above, though, you should probably put your own coat of wax in addition to what's already on there in case your skis were probably standing around a shop for a good 3-5 months.

They are ready to roll...if you are are super anal you could roll a true bar to check for high/low spots and fix accordingly...

if you are skiing exceptionally cold snow or very wet snow you should re-wax with the right juice, but for average skiing they are fine.

HAHAHA this is so Urgent!!?? It needs the the Foreigner song playing in the background, that would be classic.
