Urban Triplets...prettttyyy much demolished

look, i don't suck at rails, im not skiing over rocks, i probobly had a defective pair, im just showing what happened to my skis in response to another thread, I haven't been purposefully beating the shit out of my skis, like why would i, they cost money. Maybe it was the rails at my club being hit by the cat, i don't know, but to blame it on me being a bad skier with absolutely no evidence on how i ski is pretty rediculous.

and just to add to that, i haven't had this kindof problem with my Heads from this year either that i've been using for the same amount of time, there isn't even a single cracked edge

Yeah i've seen those edges on the inside of the base break on some Atomic and Elans. Seems like a nice concept, but not so sure about the preformance. Nice job on the damage though, dremel that shit off and they'll be fine.

there is no fucking way in hell you bent the edge back like that doing rails, unless your going straight over boxes and happened to catch on something...which still seems unlikely

i just bought some ar5'd cause my atomics edge cracked in 2 places and blew you but it took 2 years...it was pretty reliable ski

call Atomic and get it warrentied. im sure thil do it even though it s obvious that damage was on purpouse.

youll be the first to Warrenty triplettes

Wow.. there are sure a lot of tools posting in this thread.

Yes your ski is severly damaged, and like others on here I have a very very very hard time believing that this damage was done simply by sliding rails clean and well.

I say this because I have a pair of these, the prototypes, early with the tweak topsheet. They were thoroughly abused by myself and others before me.

They have been used on park rails, urban rails, wood, concrete, and every thing else we could find to slide.

They have seen this abuse now for about three years.

Summers as well.

Granted there are some cracks in the edges now, but there are no delam problems and all of the edges are still complete and continuous without gaps.

The level of damage you have on your ski did not possibly happen in a single impact, meaning that when you already had some severe damage you still continued to abuse this ski.

Just because a ski is designed with sliding rails in mind does not mean that it will take unlimited rail sliding abuse.

dude...i think you should probably do something about those massive missing chunks in your skis. i heard they do better that way

I rided a bunch of urban and a lot of park with the same skis and believe me i wasnt kind on them at all and they never got that bad. I higly suggest you show them to your local shop or something and see what they say. please let me know what is up by pm me. thanks

Ced

wow. how does this happen. even tho they are called the urban triplet they probably dont warrenty if u used them for urbans.

Guys when are you going to realize, skis brake even thought theyre called urban triplets and have a reinforced edge and are made for parkskiing.

When you buy a skateboard and brake it in the middle after like 3 weeks you dont start a thread on it on some forum and whine.

Thats how it is, shure some skis may hold up better then others but still, at some point the fuckers will break, specially if your abusing them pretty hard with with no thought.

honestly im not sure how the edge got that bad, im pretty sure it was cracked allready and then i hit a rail funny on a 270 and it got ripped out and bent, i think i have a sequence shot of it somewhere...

defective pair or something cause Dolezel, Myself and others skied those skis for 100+ days last year and nothing like that happened! call the rep it'll get taken care of!
