any one know any thing about plans for these? heard about dynastar last year sometime? one snowboard company had a snowboard like this.

like a pair with thicker or pvc edges and super durable base but cheap price used just for rails

the dominant slick is what your thinking about for boards and i don't think it woudl work as well for skis because you would slip out alot easier

a company should just make an urban ski with no edges just plastic sidewalls...so this way its cheaper for them and for you. then just dont have graphics so you can just make your own.....so its like 100 dolla skis

i think the snowboard was a forum, and had no edges as aposed to the dominit wich only dosent have edges on part of it.......my snowboard friends were talkin about it once......

Just go to a shop and buy some old twin tips that have decent edges, detune em, and you got skis + decent bindings for under 100-150. They always have old used shit on sale, shouldn't be too hard.

eastcoast is right. Forum had the board youre talking about. It had no edges, was flexy as hell, and was cheap as piss, like $100.

dumbest idea ever! seriously, there aren't enough people taking their shit to the streets to justify producing an entirely new ski soley for that purpose. most people use old skis now and what would some urban specific ski do that would be so great?

ok to clear things up:

Burton Dominant slick had no edges in the middle section of the board between the feet.

Forum Street Dweller had no edges at all.
