Alright, so for chirstmas I am going to brooklyn so I am a little bummed cause there isnt much skiing to be had. But I had an idea to hit up some urban while I am there. Does anyone know of any good rails there?

didnt steele and someone go to nyc for urban for focus i think it was they did i dub kinker and a nice down c i bet theres a bunch of stuff but bring a gun in the pants

yeah most of the rails steele hit were in the bronx. Im just going to be in brooklyn (Cobble Hill, if you know where that is) so I wont be hitting those rails

man your going to brooklyn dont come through frontin or youll get bucked oh ya and also pack steal and a blade

cause if you dont your begging to get iced

problem with places like NYC for urban is that there is so much traffic and people, you cant just do an urban hit anywhere like if u were in rural CO or midwest area. you gotta find a rail that not many people walk near.. but id reccomend going to parks and shit. if you need some snow i know last weekend in manhattan i saw some massive snow mounds near the ice skating center at union square park.. they just dumped a ton of snow right in the middle of the park next to the rink. take the subway and throw some snow in a few backpacks and haul ass back to brooklyn. if it doesnt snow at all, that is.

i wouldnt recommend it. honestly if its not the police its some crazy nigger all up in your face about how you are in his turf..hahahaha

where will you be going in brooklyn

why...what the fuck would they do with them?...nothing..they would probably break them.. and beat the shit out of you ...but this is worst case senario

haha what if somebody on the subway checked you backpack because it was so full and opened it up..what kind of look do you think you would get...for having a backpack full of snow

Clearly most of the people who responded to this thread have never been to NYC and especially Cobble Hill Brooklyn it is one of the whitest, yuppiest ,baby stroller fill neighborhood in Brooklyn so you definatly don't have to worry about getting shot!!!!! You aren't far from Prospect Park I'm not sure what the rails are like but there is a skating rink in the park so of there isn't any snow you can get it from them. I would stick to the parks because you don't have to worry about traffic I would bet the cops don't bother you , they have better things to worry about than kids riding rails. I don't live far from Cobble Hill so IM if you have other questions

I don't know about Brooklyn rails, but i got a kid you could call who skates rails all over BK. if you want to cruise up to Harlem, take the 1 or the 9 train get off 125th, around the Columbia University campus, there are long stair sets with slight curves and multiple kinks everywhere. There is one on riverside with rails on the left, on the right, and a middle section with two rails about 1 foot apart, running on each side of a concrete divider that separates the walk up, and walk down sides of the staircase. I think it would be really easy to do rail to rail tranfers on this set. I can't remenber exactly how many kinks it has though. This set runs down from Riverside by Grant's Tomb which is technically 126th or 127th and riverside. The steps run all the way down to the start of Tieman st. Not that sketchy either because only Columbia kids are on it and its surrounded by trees.

This would actually be a great spot to film. Grant's Tomb and the Hudson River in the background.

Word life. When its not crowded BK can be a sweet place to drive around. Fort Greene is kinda cool to drive around. Park Slope is kinda cool to party in.
