Urban rail near street

i found a nice staircase rail today but theres only about 2 feet between the bottom of the stairs and the road. anyone have any experience skiing into the road?

how busy is the road, like main road or like side road? get a spotter (or better 2, 1 to stop you, 1 to make sure there are no cars or stop cars until your done), and go at night when there's less traffic, and don't be stupid. If you want to hit it that's the best way to be safe.

get a friend to say GO! when theres no cars, or set up barrakades in the middle of the street, say your filming a movie or something
