allright, im about 5'10-5'11, weight about 150 , and i just bought 184 urban punx, i'm scared they are gonna be pretty hard to ride and to controle, Should i return them and a ski that's more around 179-181
don't worry aout it, you'll be fine. Have you ever mounted center before? if you haven't they'll actaully feel shorter, also don't let yourself start judging the ski on the 1-2 runs it takes to get the feeling to them and you'll like them even more.
unfortunately the next size down in the punx is a 173 which is too short for you especially with a symmetrical ski. You'll get used to it. The extra length gives you more stability and the confidence to go big.
youll be fine i got 175 urban punx and wish they were 184. they look very short with center mount. and im the same hight as you. they go up a little higher than my eyebrows. and my bacons go to the top of my forehead and that seems like a better place for symetrical skis.
The difference between a 181 and a 184 is only slightly more than an inch(2.54 cm in an inch) and when you center mount them it's only about a half an inch on either side. So it really isnt a noticeable difference. You will get used to them and appreciate the length.
