Urban Planning

Anyone here study urban planning or work as an urban planner? I had been studying federally funded bicycle and pedestrian programs for a bicycle advocacy organization but just got a new job as the Safe Routes to School Coordinator for a local school system. I plan to pursue a masters next fall and was curious if any other skiers are in the field. If so, what do you do or where do you go to school.

Cheers!

My cousin's studying urban planning at Cornell. He's more about big cities, so idk. He actually worked on a project this summer involving the new Minnesota Vikings stadium, which is kinda cool. It was super secretive.

Do you have any idea of the spots id create? would not be the best idea for me. mutiny would be childsplay if I had municipal power!

^ I know a couple of architects and have made it very very clear to never use aluminum for handrails.

My father is a city manager so he is pretty knowledgable and I plan on going into this field as well. Threads in case anything interesting goes on in here

ive always been interested in stuff like this, buildings and roads and geography and such, who knows maybe ill end up doing something with it in college
