so there is this ledge near my house that looks absolutly shmick to slide but im just wondering if sandstone slides well? or would i need to do anything to it... nothing to illegal of course lol... there is also a d-f-d-f-d agt about 90 degrees to it that would b awesome but living in sydney there is no snow and i dnt have money to build an expensive drop in ramp, but hey let me knw about the whole sandstone situation.

I can't imagine that it would slide very good. You won't have any base left on your skis, that's for sure.

The only thing you can really do is wax it up good and really inspect the sides. Doing a short session wont kill your bases or edges super bad, a decent base tune will fix er right up after.

sandstone is typically pretty smooth, should work, just wax it up for sure though

my hill has a concrete ledge and its pretty nice. just make sure its smoth and waxed up nice it shold damage ur skis too bad
