So im pretty new to park n shit...just got my first pair of twins 2 years ago and have been hittin up the park weekly and improvin big time, and come spring time, i want to hit up some urban rails in Mtl (there are such sick ones here), but i'm afraid im really gonna fuck up my only pair of twins...you guys think i should wait till my next pair and use the old ones for urban or just give her with these?

well chances are your going to need a new pair of twins soon enough anyway..so you might as well just hit it up.

You can always get a base grind at your shop as well as petex...every time i have hit up urban, i thought my skis were gettig trashed, but at the end of the day, they werent aht bad

You can mess up your skis pretty bad doing urban depending on what you're doing. I have a separate pair skis that i don't care about that i use solely for urban. When are you planning on getting new skis?

if you have some older skis that aren't twins they'll work just as well. Unless you're planning to hit the urban switch, you shouldn't really need twintips.

Head over to Mt. Royal where most of the rails are all buried in. There are rails there of all shapes and sizes, so you can find what suits you best!

Once you have tried a few of those, you will probably want to move on to new rails. In the end it is a very good idea to have a pair of urban skis.
