Urban jibbing laws?

i just re read the teddy knape story and i am wondering if any of you have had incounters with the cops? does anyone know laws agians hitting up a rail on skis? i've seen those signs that say no skateboarding/rollerblading but nothing of skiing (obviously). i was just wondering if there is such a law agians skiing in the city like the have laws agianst skateboarding

i was filming with some friends and a cop pulled up and thought we were jumping over the rail...then cordially invited us back again another time after telling us to leave. thanks officer donut!

its vandalism, and as long as your cops arent used to takn boards from skaters hitn urban rails they will just say dont get hurt or watever.

ok, techinally it is vandalism, but if the cops around your area are cool (haha) and dont care, then nothing will happen really. if they are dicks and take kids skateboards and stuff regularly then they will probably take your skis

it's too bad berman's camera mic couldn't pick up the rest of us at the beginning of the inrun yelling obscenities at that guy. what a dickfuck he was.

anyway, we get busted at rails all the time, usually they make us leave, sometimes we get in huge fights, and twice we have been written up with tresspass warning tickets that state if we are seen on the property again within six months we would get a mandatory jail sentence of some short amount of time like 2 weeks. pretty lame shit if you ask me.

if you want to avoid it, print out some fake waivers before you go and sign them and shit, then show the security people or whoever and just hope they don't follow up on it to make sure it's legit, because then you could get really bent over

theres no law in our town but they can get you for vandalizing property. its like a huge fine and normally you have to clean it up. never had a problem though.

One time Fred and I were goofing around in our schools courtyard before a ski club trip. We had our skis on and we built a little jump up to a bench and just rode over it. Then the principal comes out and yells at us. The signs by the school say no skateboarding not skiing. Crazy principal.

Yeah? well i went to jail for 10 years for jibbing the city hall rail. It was mostly for punching the cop in the face and then stealing his car, but partly for the jibbing of the rail.

Yeah i just made that up. Only problems ive actually had is someone say, go away you can't ski here.

I got nothin.
