Urban got busted...

So I live in Pennsylvania and on account of there is no snow I wanted to do some urban skiing. So I gathered up an arsenal of lumination, a generator, some kids, and 1 1/2 tons of snow in the bed of my truck. We pulled up to the first rail in the town next to me (nice 30 foot down) and started to shovel the jump in. We worked for a good fifteen minutes and almost had the jump ready and the drop-in would have taken no longer than 5 minutes. I was getting all excited to hit this and a car pulls up, some guy gets out of this Subaru and asks what we were doing, I told him we were sledding and we would be gone shortly. He started to be a real dick and told me we should leave before the authorities are notified. At this point I knew the guy was serious, so rather than get the cops involved I was super polite with the guy and told him I was packing up and leaving. He demanded I hurry up again. I got in my truck and he followed me real close (he was taking my liscence plate) untill I turned. We went back to my house, which is in a whole different town, and were planning on waiting there for an hour then go back out to a different rail basically in the woods. So I am sitting in my room and the dorbell rings, I open it up and there are two local cops standing there. They question me on what I was doing and I explained how I got snow and wanted to go sledding. They asked me why I had skis and I told them how we were going to sit on the skis to sled and they just thought it was hilarious. So once they took all of my information and had a good laugh I get a call from a cop in the town where it happend. Told him the same story and he went on about how I could be arrested for trespassing and illegal dumping. I was once again super polite with this guy and he was semi-cool. So now I am sitting here with 1 ton of snow in my truck and all the equipment to shoot at night and can't do shit with it because I will get fucked hard because all the local towns got a call about this and I don't feel like paying a fine.
Spark Notes: Set up for urban, got busted, got blown out of proportion, I just want to hit a rail and have some fun but niggaz be hatin like city cops.

im confused u never did anything and cops still visited you, and then u lied to them with some stupid excuse, and never got to ski in the end, that story sucked
 
There is always that one fucking hater(usually old people) who have nothing better to do then ruin other people's fun because they have broing ass lives and are obviously angry people. then( like this guy did) they over react to the max!

but was this on private property or no?
 
Harrisburg Area...And I was on private property at one of the schools in my district where they have a history of blowing shit out of proportion. It was best I just pack up and leave because I didn't want to pay any fines or get trespassing on school grounds.
 
i dont get it there has to be some spots that skaters hit alot its like that in my town the cops care about some spots but theres other places that kids skate and they just drive by and wave. it works the same for skiing

where was this rail dude? town property?
 
why is everyone so scared of cops? you actualy have alot of laws that

protect you and if your polite most cops are fine and will just ask you

to leave. If the rail is in a public place that is not closed at the

time, such as parks they really can't get you with much, maybe

destruction of property, but that is pretty easy to talk yourself out

of court? I.E is there any evidence to show that property other then

your own was damaged.

So my question is why leave when the one guy told you to leave, unless

it is his property he really has no right to tell you to leave, So I

would just ask him if he owned the place and if not, just stay and let him call the cops. Don't be scared of them.
 
Dude last year during a snow storm in PA we where skiing urban and wall drops in a subur of philly and the cops rolled up well more like slid up. It was that snow storm where we go a few inches then freezing rain and there was a two inch sheet of ice on all the roads. The cops gave us shit cause we were in the roads but the road were all closed so they couldnt do shit
 
^ Thats a legit question given the circumstances...I moved last year and my truck is insured and registered to my old address still as well as my license. I live at the end of my town on basically a dead end with no traffic, and I have not had any encounters with the police that they would know where I live. So I was surprised to see the cops at my door. Im still pissed cause I was so amped all week to do this, now I gotta go load up again sometime this week and do a different one, and actually hit it.
 
Never really understood why people feel as if they need to be so vigilant.... Guess the guy had nothin better to do.

^yea people that bust you are so fukn annoyin like honestly just get a life, were tryin to shred hereand they get all temper mental and call the cops wut gives
 
^Mechanicsburg, Lemoyne, New Cumberland area. I do ski at Roundtop, but that place needs to get shit right, I only ski there because its convenient. Not recommended.
 
ya thats were i usually ski, it gets pretty boring cause they dont change it up much. thats y i go to liberty sometimes cause every time i go its changed up and they have better jumps than roundtop. What ski shop do u go to.
 
the cops werent there and didnt see you trespass so you couldve just said no you werent there. voila. no ticket.
 
a buddy and i were setting up a urban session on a 12 foot down and a cop walks up and asks what were doing, he was totally chill and just said be careful, i dont wanna come back here and find one of you with a broken arm. but then again this was in alaska and the cops were all busy looking for a native guy that stole a cab.
