Ur opinion of my gear

09 dumonts 176 cm centre mounted

sth 14 bindings with new driver

spk kaos boots

i ride about 80 percent park and 20 all mountain

What u guys think???? and ive never riden centre mount before..... how is it??

Thanks

sweet park set up mang, center mount is awesome for park, makes spinning and riding switch a lot easier and dumonts are awesome skis you'll enjoy em for sure

na, groomers will be ok and such, but pow will be a little bit uncomfortable on em. not necesarily because they are centered just because they are narrow park skis. but grooomers, park, and pipe will be fun as hell on dumonts

also just another question to through out their..... i tried the SPK kaos boots... they hit super.... and the foils fit amazing................... both good boots......................... but which one better for me?????

Thanks guys.....

hmm i dont know to much about boots. SPK's i think would be good in park because i believe they have a lot more flex in them, and foils i think may be a little bit more stiffer so that may be better for all mountain. but id go kaos if you ride mostly park

the first day you ride all mtn. it will be different, but everythime after that you wont even notice the centre mount

damn never been center mounted and your on the dumonts now? lucky kid. well dont worry center mount will be fine, you will prob. like it. And as far as boots go, i would factor in weight, and cushon if you will mostly be in park

I think its totally homo.. and so are threads that ask other people if they think their shit is sick...

But really, in all honesty, sick setup haha.

you think that 122 in the tip, and 86 under waist is a skinny park ski? more like a wide park ski. look at any all mountain ski, tips in the 120s and pretty similar shapes to the dumont/suspect. a skinny park ski is something like the JO Pro, invader, chronic, punx, nothing but troubles, etc that are in the low 80s to high 70s under waist. you will do fine in pow with dumonts. i had public enemies and they were good enough in pow for what i did, and they are skinnier than dumonts

i wasnt calling dumonts narrow park skis, i meant "park" skis in general are narrow and i said skiing pow will be uncomfortable, especially on a park ski at centered.....

super sick setup dude you gonna love them i'd say your first 2 runs with center mount it'll be a bit weird but you'll get use to it really quick.. enjoy

I would have gone -1 or -2 just cos you will be doing some all mountain. But then again I have riden as set of Scratch FS's center and they were sick. So im sure whateva you have done will be fine.

thanks guys..... and ya i ride all mtn when i get a chance to go out west.... i live here in the east coast.... so i guess centre mount wont have a problem with me..........
