Ur greatest skiing moment ever?

Mine would have to be when i went out west for the first time and the first day i was there i skied three feet of powder and the way i felt that day was beyond anything i could ever explain....it was just me and my bro tearin up the mountain, constant fresh tracks and huge face shots...it was beyond epic and just because it was my first really deep powderathon i dont think a day liek that will ever be matched.

Now lets here ur stories...i know everyones got one and i sure want to hear about them along with a bunch of other fellas..so lets hear them.

when i realized that all the rails and jumps snowboarders did could be done on skis-evn backwards!!! i was like "sweet".

"i'll nosepress your box if you lipslide my rail"

first, bighit for some reason i cant see the quote reply button for u, second, i cried during that story

my greatest skiing moment is when i went to winter park this one time and it had snowed like the whole night before. The highest lift to this one part of the mountain opened late for some reason and i was the first one on it. Riding it the whole way up i could see feet and feet of untouched powder the whole way under me, and when i got to the top i looked around and could see all the peaks to all these different mountains, and the sun was perfect and bright, and i relized i wouldnt rather be anywhere else in the world, then i skied probely the best pow run of my life.

yeah, wp is dope. Any time Im on skis is great, but my greatest moment would have to be at wp. It was early april this year and a somewhat big storm came in with 1.5 feet of powder. We were only supposed to ski half a day, but our flight got cancelled so I got to ski the whole day. I went up to parsenn and the t-line lift and it was 2 feet deep. I did some really cool tree skiing and some technical stuff in there. The day after was good too because I was skiing while all my friends were in school.

i cant take him[liam downey] seriously cuz his name reminds me of that downy bear from back when i was a kid -d loc

I don't deny there are bad things in the US right now, hell, 51% of the country to be exact. But god damnit, our country being fat is NOT a problem. I do't give a shit how fat people are. hell, fat kids are harder to kidnap, that means our country is safer.

this year, late april. It was a professional day at school so we were gonna go ski in Whistler for the day with a few friends. They slept over, and the next morning, here we are, ready to hop on the greyhound bus. I had previously missed the bus twice this season because of not paying enough attention to the schedules, so I checked the website again about 5minutes before getting a ride to the bus stop. And there, surprise! The bus was only running on week-ends at this specific time! Well one of my friends remembered that the school's rugby team was going up with some ottawa rugby team at 6:30 this morning,so there we are, running to the school with our gear, hoping to get a seat in the bus. And we made it.

Skied powder(not the bet though) from 9:30 to 3:30, met a pro freerider in the gondola (Chad Sayers), and had to run after the bus as we were getting out of the gondola because we decided to go for a peek to base 2 run.

Not the best skiing day, but the whole adventure was awesome.

i just want to add a bit to my storie.....me and my bro were at dear valley...i was pissed casue i wanted to be ay alta but it worked out for the better because dear valley=2 good skier, me and my brother so all the little craps were skiing on all the crap while me and my bro would just head out into the woods...and its not like we had to look for pow it was basiccaly having a mouyain of untapped pow to orselves..and we would play a game were it was deepest but of course it was deep everywhere. The best memory was just just watching my bro diissapear in the tress and then being alone and being like o shit this is how i want to spend my life and then just pushing off into chest deep pow and floating some ill turns..then meeting back up with my bro at the bottom hollering and yelling the whole way down. People thought we were crazy on the lift but i had no problem yelling at them hey man im from ther east and right now im in heaven so dont ruin it for me...it was dope

sorry i actully get kinda of emotionally about this becase of how sick it was...it was perfect and i just wanted to shair an experience like this with all my other brothas and sistas who love this amazing sport as much as i do

probably when i chipped my teeth when everybody was just coming up...and then calling my dad...the convo was funny

'if it doesnt look photoshopped, its not big enough'

that sounds fuckign sick, iive had soem moments liek that poaching pow back east

My greatest moment was my whole big white trip that me and my bud took not this season but the one before. We were supposed to stay for like 5 dayz, but after we got off our 43 hour bus ride from tbay, ontario, we new we were gonna stay to the end of the season. It was sweet in the first 3 days we got hooked with season passes that were like people that had to go back to there countries cuz there visa's were up, so we rode for free. THen we found our bud from home that was living there, dave chamberlin, he hooked us with a place to sleep for a case of beer, and we rode with his crew, there called the renegades. We chilled with the park crew too, I'll never forget walkin into the rail park with neuman (a park crew guy) with a couple of 12 packs and a crew at 8 30 in the morning and just sessioned for hours. But by far the best day was when we went to hit BC booters with the renegade crew on our last day, my bud did this beautiful bs 180 stalefish to tomahawk down the landing, and on my last hit after throwing a bunch of 3's to get used to landing BC, and after being rotted to death cuz i was the only skier in like a group of 15, i busted out this sweet ass cork 7, not my best ever but still my fav so far, landed then skied into jessi's (who was goin about 20 feet longer then everyone elses) bomb hole and cartwheeled acouple of times. Anyways i can write a book about this, we ended up stayin for like 26 day, but i have to thanx neuman for makin the jumps nice and all the free bud and chamberlin for the place to stay and showin us around

Merse you sexy potatoe you better be doing some thing fucking crazy up there, see yea soon br-ah

i have actually alot of powder day stories...

two years ago in utah it snowed 1 foot a day for 5 days, but i was too young to sort of appreciate it and abuse it

this year at cannon when we found a trail that we had been searching for for years, and there was pow

or maybe just any powder day i had this year at cannon, which we actually had a good amount of

A few years ago, I went to whistler with my new Scratch BC's. I went to spanky's ladder when there was extremely poor visibility. I couldnt see more than a few feet in front of me. I remember that every turn i jumped, i went down at least 20 feet. It was the most intense i have ever felt, in the middle of a snowstorm, going down the toughest trail i have ever been on, only 2nd day i have skied on a real mountain. I didnt even see what I did until it finally cleared up a few days later.

ing is like sex. its hard and fun and you keep getting better at it.

Pretty much every day here is a powder day, so I'd have to say the first time I did a backflip or the week it snowed 100 inches in four days

it is SNOWING

being out there, seeing your breath, right after a 12 inch snow, the sun is peaking and sparkling off the run with a 60 degree pitch and no tracks, you hear your own breath and your heart drops as the music starts and you drop in to that first turn with nothing below you...

I wish i was a gangster

I'm w/ ezrider and bridgerider and all you others who are refering to the 6 foot dump at Bridger Bowl 2 years ago. That was completely insane.

Also this year in like February when we got a 2 foot dump and me and my friends got first tracks down the 4th finger AND we didn't have to break the trail. I took a line that went down beside the chute and dropped a PERFECT 20 footer then skiied the rest of it. One of my sweetest runs ever even though I only saw about 5% of it b/c of the constant face shot and there was slough coming down beside me. It looked like stuff i've seen in movies.
