Don't worry what everyone else did their first season. Push yourself hard as shit...what you can do is what you can do, and is usually a good indicator of how hard your working.
yea...ur right. Ive only been jibbing for a season and all i can through are 180 safetys and 180 mutes. (plan on doin a 3 by tha end of tha season, and as lame as it may sound i just rode my first rail last wed.

yea....im bout 15-20 min. away from this super small ski resort 'timber ridge'. All we got is two semi big rails, two 1ft. high rails, a SUPER small table, and and a big kicker at tha end. But tha park is only like 40yd. long so its not that great. Its pretty sad.
this year is the first year i've actually skied more park than all mountain, but i blame it on the snow.....i learned how to slide rails my first day out this year, then disolocated my shoulder on my 3rd. i've just been straight airing a lot, getting comfortable going off hits and airing out of the pipe, but i haven't tried anything crazy cuz if i get hurt i'm out of a job for a while
two years ago i could do nothing... my big air trick was a spread... last year was my first year jumping and i can do 3s, 5s, switch 3s, and smaller stuff than that and i could slide rails... this year im doing bigger 5s and sliding all rails... peace
by the end of my first season i threw a nice 3, 180 were a breeze, and rails were SKETCHY, now in my 3rd, i can throw a extremly sketchy 7 and a decent 5, rails imporving
i love to ski, so should you, its fun, try it sometime
my first year ever was on pussy blades, and i could do 5's and backs and fronts.. but blades don't really count. my first year actually jibbing i got stupid and did some dumb stuff, although some was landed. anyways, just work at a good progression man where stuff feels good and looks good.. dont get stupid, or else you'll probably end up hurt if ur not ready for the trickery.
This is my first year, and i can throw pretty nice three's, nice 5's, 1's with a safety in there sometimes, and some rails. Next for this year comes a 7
Saturday night and you're still hangin' around
Tired of livin' in your one-horse town
Like to find a little hole in the ground
For a while
So you go to the village in your tie-dye jeans
And you stare at the junkies and the closet queens
ive been skiing for 3 years now and at the end of last season, i do really sketchy 3's, this year, i have learned backflips, 5's, 7's, switch 3's and now im working on a misty 7 but im having trouble landing it
my first season i could do 3s and 1s and a mute and saftys and i was hucking fronts, now i can almost do straigh 7s, i can do 5s cork 5s cork 7s and backs and flairs and shit loada rails, and its been like was 2 years i think
