It's not the park city rev tour, it's the chevy revolution tour... and it's a snowboard only event. It's a qualifier for the us open and other events. and like I keep saying, you want a ski contest, get a proposal put together and start hashing it out.
so coming down today from jup. i saw the jumps but there was only 1 finished landing a wierd hip thing and half of another landing. it looks like prolly a week or so until it gets finished MAYBE.
This is my first year living out here and skiing PC a bunch every week. So Jonesy's is the "big park" with big jumps and shit correct? SO I went to lower jonesys and the rails are tiny and not much fun. So I was wondering, when the upper is done do those rails get taken out for bigger more challenging features or does lower just remain small and stuff?
Yea, I've cut my leg open worse a couple of different times though, So I wasn't in too much shock. I should upload a picture of when I cut my calf(sp?) open
The lower jonesys stays smaller. It's the most poached park on the mountain when it's closed at 345 and it's the most heavily used park, or on par with pick, because it's on the main route down from the rest of the mountain. So it usually stays small for that reason. Haven't discussed it yet for this year...
And can people stop complaining about not seeing a park guy every second of the day in every park? i've got 5 people and myself. We can't be everywhere all day every day. Sorry.
The other day I let the Australian dude with glasses know how you're all killing it with the parks... and he was stoked.
But, today in King's was one of the most fun/progressive days at PC i've ever seen. There were so many people throwing down, and the weather was perfect....
In Jonesys? just two jumps in upper jonesys and the same jibs that were there last week in lower jonesys. After the Rev tour we'll have time to put the rails and stuff in upper jonesys.
Thank you for removing the quarterpipes in kings crown and putting in 3 SICK new features. The up-down skinny box is the most fun feature Ive hit in any park in my recent memory. And the last jump is now perfect.
Unfortunatley my foot is hurt so I am not jumping right now, I am sliding rails though. The D-F-D rail in Kings crow in pretty mellow, I like it alot. The table in upper jonesey's look sick. Especially table number 2 (I am not as big of a fan of step-downs). I can't wait to be able to hit them I also am stoked that you took the q/p's out of kings crown. Any C-boxes C-rails or S-rails going to be out this year?
