Uploading pictures is sloowwwww

wondering if there is a way to speed it up. trying to create a for sale thread but my pictures just sit there and say "uploading - please wait". is there a better way to do this??thanks +k
 
Uploaded earlier today. Did not notice it to be slow. Perhaps the high traffic is slowing down the server at the time you were uploading?

Also, what is your connection-like? Upload speeds can be highly dependent on a persons connection type as some providers have terrible upload speeds but good download speeds.

Additionally, I thank you for putting the photos in the correct category. It was the first thing I looked for when I opened the thread, lol. Private gallery would have been used in a perfect world, but alas, you did much better than many have!
 
connection is rather good, i think its because of the size/quality so i think i will be shrinking some of the larger ones. and i will now make them private. thanks for the info guys
