belanger sucked? umm, i had a lengthly discussion with one of the superpipe riders, and we came to the conclusion that if belanger had stuck his run, he would have won. did you see the amplitude he was getting? he also had real technical tricks...and above all else, style. its just too bad he hurt himself.

ski superpipe won't be the same this year without him.

Bundo, I realize that. But all things considered it was just pretty tough luck for Mike. I found it ironic also how in both competitions they were just a hair apart from each other, yet most the other competitors were pretty spread out on points.

I'm not trying to discredit Tim in any way/shape/ or form. His performance at Superpark was insane and he definitely has the skills to place well. Which is sad to hear that he is on the injured list.

Schimke has had some bad luck in the past. and I think it's crazy how he's still relatively unknown. He has for years placed top 10 in major comps and beaten out guys like Abma, Belanger, Schiller, Reedy, Silva, Spence in a number of them.

I know he has the skill and hope to see him back in one of these xgames
