hah, you know what I thought was the worst. I just found out that last year at the bear mountain 2005 x qualifiers that my friend Mike Schimke didn't qualify for the x games because he got 4th and Tim Durtschi who got 3rd got .8 points above him.

and to top it off, at the Paul Mitchell American Freeski tour superpipe comp in Tahoe, Mike Schimke once again got 4th. And who got 3rd? Tim Durtschi once again, winning by .1 of a point.

Mike has already been to the xgames in the past. But was taken out when he jumped onto the 40 ft. flat rail (I believe) and nutted all the way across it and then was tossed off at the end on his back.

and placed above some big names Pollard/Dumont, and placed neck and neck with Chriton and one point from Candide Thovex.

If anybody out there deserves another shot at the x games then it is Mike Schimke. He is seriously one of the best and most humble skiers that I have ever seen

he still placed behind tim to not qualify, besides tim qualified by doing a 120 foot zero spin at superpark, not from those competitions. i wish tim wasn't hurt, i seriously think he would have fucking killed slopestyle, definitely would have podiumed. poooooor guy
