Believe it or not, our voice can be heard!

WME is definitely feeling the pushback on this absurd course of action they initiated. They are quickly trying to resolve this in a cooperative manner with Level 1 in a way that can be spun through the media to end the PR nightmare they created. I cannot get into the specifics for a number of reasons, but just know that what we have been doing is working. In what they are doing, they are basically admitting their moves were a mistake and they are trying to mitigate the damage. Now we really need to release the hounds and push even harder and hope that they just drop the case.

This is further evidence that they had no idea what they were getting into with this. They drastically underestimated the passion, comradery, loyalty, intelligence, character, and overall enthusiasm this group has. They also did not realize that in the age of social networking sites this sort of brand damaging information can spread like wildfire. All of this proves how out of touch with their market WME is. Don't let up, keep on em'....

I live in winter park and I'm about to head down to the bonnier corp office and show those fools what's up!

If you haven't taken the time to write e-mails to WME's sponsors or Level 1's sponsors, now is the time. Get your voice heard because it is working, and the more that are heard, the better the chances this is resolved or even dropped.

Well I am glad they didn't want everyone who skis to stop buying their videos because they are a bunch of fucking ass hats.

To whom it may concern,
I am writing to express my disgust at the lawsuit that has been filed against Level 1 productions in regards to their new film 'Refresh'. Like the majority of Level 1's audience, I had taken no interest Warren Miller Entertainment prior to the release of Level 1's Refresh and I have never seen one of your films. Once the involvement of Warren Miller in this film was made apparent, I was interested to find out more about who he really was, I looked at your website and considered purchasing some of your films to see the history of this man for myself. However, in light of the current lawsuit, I will make it a point to avoid all work associated with WME and advise all my friends and family to do the same. I have no association with Level 1 but I am a big fan of their films. I do not care in the slightest that Warren Miller narrates their latest movie, and I am sure this indifference is a position taken by most of Level 1's audience. The only reaction I had to the news that he would narrate was to take an interest in WME its films as part of the history of my sport. The lawsuit that you have filed has only served to further alienate your company from Level 1's audience and the ski market in general. Before this situation the stance of my peers towards WME was indifference and more recently, an interest in the history sparked by Refresh, but both of these feelings have turned to a deep resentment at the charges leveled against the company we are inspired by. I hope that WME can come to its senses and drop these charges, as from my point of view only this action coupled with an apology to the skiing world as a whole, can do anything to save the reputation of WME and its products.

I agree with pushing harder. Dont stop now guys, keep the support coming stronger and stronger until we OFFICIALLY know its over.

word, everybody that is reading this thread need to send at lest one more e-mail! It could make such a difference!

Wow I'm actually surprised our "voice" somewhat did help the cause. Cause honestly I read some stuff that ppl sent in to WME and it just sounded like typical immature, biased NS language.

yo man i think a lot of people were stoked that warren was narrating the film. i mean anyone who has seen his older films or cares at all about the history of ski movies

I'm sure I'll get some hate for this BUT

Why does everyone think WME is out of touch with their market?

I have seen a lot of Warren Miller films and not one of them is about the newest most progressive type of skiing.

WME and old WM films are marketed to your parents and the middle aged instructor types. These people could generally care less about new school skiing and this lawsuit.

If you are going to tell WME who their target market is atleast get it straight.

I'm a huge fan of the Level 1 movies and the people behind them so lets try a little harder!

Maybe WME are weakening after expending all resources and energy on trying to decipher the terrible spelling, grammar and the fact that they were generally being referred too as WWE (wrestling) WWF (Wildlife foundation) etc etc.... amongst others ha.... the daily barrage of grammatically retarded, coded emails has beaten them in to submission!!

I am of course joking....

Way to lay the beat down NS....... maybe an EPIC victory is just around the corner.... keep up the splendid effort!
