I still can't believe one of WME's complaints against Level1 was the fact that people were chanting Warren at the premier. People legit grasp at straws these days and it's fuckin sickening. And the fact that they claimed rights to the use of his voice, lol.
Go NS! Overthrow this bullshit!

After this, even whether they win or lose, people are going to notice and remember this incident. The entire industry including thousands and thousands of potential customers will regard them as complete shit-heads and never support them again.

i just wanted to quickly discuss some of the publicity on the WME facebook fan page..im sure by now most of us have seen the page, and i think its actually quite funny that they delete posts supporting level 1. its great that were all supporting level 1 through this lawsuit and can see through WME's bullshit. it makes just as angry as the next person seeing a completely bogus and ridiculous lawsuit affecting the little guy. it happens way to often in the world, and most of the time with the exception of this time it goes unnoticed and under the radar.. We are sure making an effect on the skiing community with all the emails and attempts to get people to open there eyes about the lawsuit. but i just wanted to address some of the things on WME Facebook page and how it may be interpreted to others who may be unaware of the current lawsuit, or just plain naive about the rest of the skiing world. expressing anger and showing it to the public isnt exactly the best way to go about supporting level 1 during the lawsuit... this lawsuit upsets me just as much, and my friend kip (caveman) actually got banned from messaging on Facebook and isnt allowed to post on the wall of WME anymore. haha. he wasnt posting negative shit or anything, but trying to post information and open the eyes of the people in the skiing community who are unaware of the lawsuit and its conditions. i not talking about this sort of information. this is what we need to do! let people know what this lawsuit is about, and let them know that even WARREN MILLER HIMSELF supports level, and is disconnected with the very company he created. which is of course a shame, that the very company he created is now in a lawsuit discussing the terms and conditions of his voice. im talking about all the "FUCK YO'US", WME IS A BUNCH OF FAGGITS!", "FUCK WME!" posts. all of which are true in this case.. buuut that isnt exactly the best way to inform other people about this lawsuit. we all want to scream it but showing this to other part of the skiing industry isnt the best way to go about supporting level 1 and may in fact hurt them, because "HATING" is one the best ways to shut someones listening skills and common sense. VOICING YOUR OPINION IN AN INFORMATIVE WAY i believe is the best way to do this, and to open up everyones heads about how ridiculous this lawsuit is. Any sane person who read the outline of the lawsuit could see through bullshit that is this very lawsuit, and would most likely support level 1 through this all the way, and thats what we need to do.. we need to inform all of these people about the lawsuit as i am POSSITIVE anyone who read the articles would fully back Level 1. sometimes hating is the best way to go about relaying information...anyways thats just what i wanted to say..LETS GET MORE EMAILS out there to ns!
just because WME vs WM, and soon to be WME vs Level 1 again dropped out of the first page on ski gabber and NSG doesnt mean that its over, and we can stop putting on the pressure to sponsors and individuals of WME. its not over till the fat lady sings.

You can be dead right or dead wrong - either way you are dead. I put you in the dead right category. There is no point in trying to persuade people on what words they use to deliver their message. IMHO and others, the power is in the number of people posting for or against, not the content of the post. Actually, hostile posts shows a certain passion about that subject, does it not?. Sure, there are a certain number who hide anonymously just to get their jollies from ugly antagonizing posts, but hey! they took the time to identify a target. That's what smart marketing and sales is/should be looking at.

I just might have to do that....
 
ya your right on this. But I was just trying to say how other people might interpret all the fucks, and hate posts.. of the comments that are actually still on the page, The majority are WME people telling Nsers and others to stop hating it seems. It doesnt really matter what they think about what we think, but when trying to change others into seeing what is actually happening, let them know our opinion on the lawsuit and to try and make them loose the support they have for WME it might just help informing vs. fucking. i was just trying to say that people often become close minded when they see that is all. but your right it is about showing the passion we all have, and the support we are showing for Level 1 during all of this. Anything does help,and WME's own fans are starting to see what is going on, and no longer back WME. ive seen a few people on the page want some information on the lawsuit, and no longer have WME try and pull the wool over their eyes.. most of which are now deleted.. haha. but ya lets keep it going

Haven't listened to it yet. But doesn't WME not even use their own footage anymore? Like they just buy it all/hire outsiders to film?

To bad warren himself pretty much lost. I would have been devastated if I would have never heard the version with the Warren Miller voice over. I remember following this because I wanted my damn DVD without any delays.

Loved listening to this podcast (and all they've been dropping). Totally forgot about the whole WM/Level 1 versus WME case. I remember being at the Bulrington VT premiere of the film, very inebriated, and someone was filming while we were in line. My immature teenage self, ranting off about "fuck wme!!!"

That premier was amazing. May have been my first ski movie premier. The "fuck WME" chant was in full effect.
