Update on Empire Freeride

Well, I figure I would inform you guys who are heading out there this week. I just got off the phone with Mike the director of the camp last night, and he is absolutely busting his ass to make this camp as dope as possible. This is some info he told me, for all you people wondering whats up. Theres going to be a bunch of rails from a huge C rail, rainbow rail, flat rail, to a tetor totter rail like that of eric mcgoverns segment in SM3, and others... Small, mid, large kickers, and a quarter pipe. A halfpipe is still a possibility depending if the situation and the time is right to build one with the draggon. Session 3, which is the session before the competition is 15 kids total ranging from age 13 as the youngest to 19 being the oldest. Mercon and tufflemire will be there coaching and helping everyone out. There will also be other coaches, and possibily more pros stopping in to ride. Tanner Hall may be there for the competition if he doesnt end up going to Hood early because he is at all stars ski camp which doesnt seem as if it got a big turnout this year for campers. Theres going to be a tramp to practice tricks on, and a pool. In the best western hotel, they set up like a mini theatre type deal for watching ski dvd's and shit, and during the day there is going to be a time where you can get a video analysis done of yourself if you chose, and then watch it obviously in the theatre. Ummm... Like you all know salomon is going to be there and pocket rockets and 1080s with bindings will be availible for 200 bucks brand new to campers, killllller deal, but you can also demo them whenever you want. Theres is going to be two lifts, and a surface tow lift. Along with the park there is going tom be the BC scene, and from what Mike says he said it is out of this world, and this camp will really put beartooth on the map. Hmmm... can't think of anything else right now, so that should do it

Yeah its really going to go off. And that salomon deal is crazy, i dunno whether to pick up a pair of 1080s or PR's, with me livin in the east coast i bet my best bet is some 1080s, but then again, PRs would be dope for our powder days whenever we get em.. ahh the choices

ok here's the deal on empire and I know exactly what i am talking about. Ok as of right now the only feature made is a flat doublebarrel rail. but alas! don't fret. A HUGE table is being formed, a spine is being made, and a quaterpipe are all in thw works. Plus, another large table with 4 different takeoffs. Now the best part the rails, we have some dope ass rails a teetertoter rail via. SM3 a gnarly lookin'g rainbow c single barrel, Plus a bunch o kinked rails straight rails.

The All-Stars camp got 40+ campers the second week. Quit lying about us and your camp on the forums. We don't. Step back and worry about your own camp and leave us alone.

 
Dude, why are u getting all defensive? If you wanna have an empire vs. all stars battle then we can do this, but other then that I just went at what I heard. Yes, tanner was there throwing down along with pep and rory, which was phat as hell, and yes there was a decent turnout for all star campers, does that make you happy? And yes, empire and all stars together were throwing down together. Maybe you shouldn't get all defensive about your camp, and just go with what you know is true and right, instead of fighting, cause overall both camps ended up rocking together

Just leave us alone, we're on our own tip. Comprende? I'm not calling you out on specifics, because we're not 'defensive' like you say. But if you're talking sh!t, expect that you will be called on it. Respect your neighbors, or Kevin won't be so friendly next year. We only give as much respect as we're dealt.

 
Dude, u are the one getting defensive, I just said that all stars threw down, and it was cool. and whatever man with kevin being cool next year or what not, if it wasn't for Mike being the park pimp master then the outcome would of been alot different. I am not trying to start an empire all stars war, cause skiing isn't about stupid shit like that, both camps were cool, period, thats all i gotta say
