Update on Blue Hills

Alright so me and Evan went today, the first day it was open. And finally, Blue Hills has a park. Today they just had a 10 foot flat bar that was set up as a down rail, sketch gap though, and there was also a ride on 6 foot Burton progression box. They also have another rail that was identical to the down rail they had today, and they also have a low 10 foot flat bar and a small flat down rail that they are re-painting. I think they'll also weld some new rails too.

I talked to a few snowboarders that work there and they are basically the park crew and they also told me that every Friday night there will be comps with like 2-3 jumps that can be any size, as well as like 5 rails.

They said they should have rails up everyday too. Finally Blue Hills realized that they need some kind of a park to attract more people.
 
sick. too bad we don't get the pass for ski team this year though. Still wicked sick and a step in the right direction
 
Was there today, rails weren't up but on the side of the trail, looks like some big whales in the area too, it would be sick if they had a super wide deck with like 2 takeoffs and a rail

 
gaaah, we finally have a practice tomorow and I break my skis at wachusett. i guess i'll just snowboard tomorow, hopefully they set up the rails
 
no its true sean and i gotta ok you to get in. you gotta be on the list but i might be able to pull some strings to get you in
 
we have a race there but i'm not going to go since i'd have to drive there (we don't get a bus) and i don't even race, so it would jsut be a waste.
 
blue hills is so gay. now that the finally set up one shitty rail and a jump with the landing way to far away they think theyre the shit. we went today and the rail was half covered in snow. Mr. BillyGoteMan went to fix it but some punk snowboard instructors started yelling at him not to mess it. They were like "This is a beginner park we dont have any 25 foot kickers yo." good start to the year
 
Hahaha yeah, the snow was higher than the rail, and i started to dig it out, the boarders were pissed. I was the only one hitting the damn thing anyway. Whatevs, might be there fri/sat.
 
jumister and i were there tonight, we showed up late so we didn't really do the big air, but jumister did get a couple runs in, and then we did the jump afterwards. It's not that great, very poppy, the landing is way too steep, and the in run was just ugly. Make the drive to wachusett, blue hills still isn't worth it. Btw, there weren't any rails set up
 
hahaha now they have a "SUPER PARK"=spine,pretty nice size jump like about 90ft,quarter pipe,and some jibs
 
yea ragged doesnt own them ne more. i was talking to the new people at the ski show and they were like yea we are putting in snow making and they said they were gonna put in some rails and stuff and that in the future they want to add more park features...not gonna believe it till i see it tho.
