I'm gonna see Shad and K'Naan tonight, We Came As Romans on Wednesday at the Rickshaw, As I Lay Dying at the Vogue on Oct 7, Steve Aoki at the PNE forum on Oct 15, and Dan Mangan at the Vogue on Nov 13, and Alexisonfire on Nov 27 at the PNE forum.

Alexisonfire should do it right and make this show free after the shit that happened during the Olympics. Not hyped.
 
I'm pissed they never followed through with what they said- they told us they were coming back immediately with a free show to make up for it, but right from the start I knew it wasn't happening

If my birthday was a couple months earlier I'd see all of them and another 4 or so shows from this summer/fall that were also 19+ (except Steve Aoki because of other shit in the way...)

I was coming out here from Calgary and completely forgot the drinking age here was higher... Bought a 19+ ticket. If anyone is stoked on the band though or knows anyone that wants to go, hit me up.
 
That's such a nutty day, so much shit going down, bunch of big names rolling through, along with some of the local crews putting on their own shows.

Would it be lame to say im going to 3oh!3 on the 14th at the Vogue! Id recommend seeing Deadmau5 if he ever came back that concert was off the hook
 
Well yea it's pretty lame except that the crowd is gonna be a bunch of horny girls that are all rolling, and taking their clothes off. It's probably worth the ticket price, might as well enjoy the music while you're at it. But if you leave without getting some I'll be ashamed

Nero/Skrillex last weekend was killer, loved the (actual) mosh pit Skrillex got going right at the end.

Rural Alberta Advantage this weekend, Trans-Syberian Orchestra the week after, and then probably take it easy until Bassnectar. Times are good.
 
If anyone is looking for bloody beetroots tickets, shoot me a PM asap! A friend isn't going and needs to get rid of 3 tickets, $150 for all 3.

Row 24 seat 4 would be your seat, concert is on december 10th, doors open at 7 and show starts at 8.

The tickets were originally $275 but I would probably be willing to let one go for a lower, reasonable price.

^The Aoki whistler show is on the 20th, not the 22nd. Your friend only had the dates wrong.

Skrillex is coming to Victoria Jan 14th as well, fucking pumped to go.

Really gonna have to decide if I want to see Excision this time through. He's always damn good to catch live, but Gossip is bad for sound.
 
Bassnectar brought a massive amount of extra sound, and it wasn't that loud/good sounding. It's an acoustically bad venue, between the shape and high celings. Can sound really good at the sound booth, but it can be bad most everywhere else.
