this saturday whaleback is hosting their biggest event of the year. dylan is working hard to build a course with unique jibs and rails. registration is starts at 11 and the comp starts at 11. its a cash prize event and there is a Had for the Hills premier after. come to this event its gonna be dope!

want to clarify times? you said reistration and comp start at 11
 
^35 bucks but it includes lunch. if you dont want to compete you can just pay like 15 bucks to session which reminds me the stair set and the summer jib area will be open but the contest is not on either of these setups so you can sesh these during the contest

Jib Event

This Saturday December 13th the Whale will be

hosting its first park event of the season with a head to head

jib event in Jib Port (lower mountain).We will be setting

up lift towers, tractor tires, boxes, rails and much more.

Every competitor will receive a goody bag as well as lunch.

$10 from every competitor will go towards the cash prizes.



Cost to compete:

$35(includes lunch and goody bag)

Cost to just ride: $15(you will have to

ride around the event. We will have something open to jib

throughout the entire day)

Sign up: 11 -12noon

Practice: 11:30am - 12:30pm

Start: 1pm

Open to skiers and riders. Men and

Women.

Classes: Open and Advanced (cash prizes for advanced only)

Prizes: Top 3 in each class. (Guaranteed

to walk away with tons of gear)

Meathead Films will be

premiering their new movie "Head To The Hills"

after the comp around 4pm to

4:30pm (free for all competitors) $5

everyone that didnt go missed out cause it was a great event. whaleback basically has a full park right now with a 30 foot jump, the stair set and a few other boxes and rails

is the jump in the same place last year?
whaleback is my home mountain and its great, but it did suck all last year how if you wanted to hit that kicker you couldn't hit ANYTHING else. i just felt nothing was positioned very well, so you could only hit like one rail or jump per run. is it set up the same this year?thanks
 
^the jump is in the same place as last year but it is bigger than last year but hopefully there will be more jumps and rails in the park over to the left over on scrimshaw.
