Up Side To The East Cost

Living in the east we only get about 10 sunny warm days a year to jib wich makes it hard to inprove in difficulty of are tricks, but with this icy cold weather we get to work on more inportent stuff such as style. When most kids out west just trying to huck there way to a d-spin 9 with no grab, we get to work on smooth flawless airs. Dont get me rong, I think Out west rocks and id ski there in a second over the east, but i think we need to be thank full for what we have over here

I defeitly agree with you, those west-coasters have it so easy, just huck. If did that here we would die!

Stranger: Excuse me sir, did something crawl down your throat and die?

Barney: It didn't die!

Is your refridgerator running because if it is I bet it runs like you, very homosexully

word, i guess thats true

yea, Andy Woods kicks ass, but he moved to whistler...

East coasters kill it in the pipe

yo, coming from the east and moving out west for the first time, i disagree. sure there are those guys that throw gross backflips, but no one in the west thinks back flips are cool. they would rather see a three x than a back, kinda like how people in the east would rather seee a back than a three. kids out here know how to ski just about anything, and the ones i ride with have just as much style as us east coasters. it is easier to learn flips, ill give you that, but just to add a 180 to a spin is no big deal. i havent learned any new spins out here, and if i would, it would be in a terrain park, wehre the jumps and landings area alwyas smooth.

haha ya i guess your right cuz i have not skied out west much... only in the summer, =p..juts trying to find an up side to the east... oh ya but i ski at jay peak vermont and we get and avrige of 350inches a year and this year we got 380inches when all other hills from eats got like 150 max.. so if u in the east coem to jay for god skiing (bad park)

dont bitch or complain. you think you have it bad? you dont. not at all. ive seen your parks in the videos at sas. ive never been to the west, i just skied wisconsin and michigan, and we should be the ones whining. isnt the inferno on the east?

Ya the east coast scene rocks. But i dont think out west they ever have to jib rock hard parks. Pure ice pipes and pretty much absolutely no back country other than Jay and Some part of Stowe.

I think this also has to do with why there is so many more east coast skiers on this site than west coast skiers; while all of us east coasters are bitching about ice on NS, all of the west coasters are get waist deep pow.

i love how you guys say the snow sucks in the east, yet you all live in vermont

i live in new jersey so it cant get much worse than this

altho i do have LOADS of fnu at monutani creek, i LOVE their rails and i finally learned how to grind all of em this year which was a big step for me since its my second year, hehe. i have yet to expierence 'out west' as you call it but hopefully i will get the chance to take a trip out

well, there are a lot more people from the east coast here than the west coast 'cause the site is based out of ottawa so the word can get out more here, and there are just more people... i mean, look at all the major cities on the east coast compared to the west coast. New Jersey has the same population as Canada.

I ski Wisconsin...The only thing worth driving to the mountain is the park. Almost always man made snow. I happy with what we got. I try new tricks and perfect old ones. I try to make myself a well rounded skier, but Only visiting the East coast and the West coast once each year its harder for me to skis bowls and couloirs well than a westcoaster. I've skied since I was three and love the backcountry. I think we shouldn't care what others think of our tricks or our terrain, East Coast, West Coast or even the Midwest. We just do it for the love of the sport. Im happy with anything I can ride my skis on.

no one gets to talk bout shitty snow unless u live in the midwest. we got about 1.5 ftn the whole year, and our 'Mountains' are smaller than your average sledding hill. to all of u who live in vermont and shit- stop bitching, cause u got it alot better than most. i was born in vermont too, just another reason not to dis it.
