I am an up and comer skier who is looking for skies and gear, tips, and any thing else that will help.

I freestyle rollerblade and i am pretty good... after seeing chris haffey, brian shima, and franky morales skiing i really wanted to start and also my friend who rollerblades skies as well and is pretty good. so i thoght i might pick it up fairly easy since it is a lot like rollerblading. i would appreciate your feed back thanks!

your best bet would be fujis, silencers, or invaders

all good skis at a price thats hard to pass up when your just startin out

i used to rollerblade back in the day (which was a wednesday) and it does kinda carry the same motion of skiing, but nothing compares to actually gettin out on the mountain and rippin.

good luck wit findin all your gear and any other questions you have about startin out and whatnot, just type what your lookin for in the searchbar up top. itll spit out all kinds of goodies for ya

As its been said before, fujis or silencers or invaders will be a great ski.

i strongly encourage you to venture outside of the park and experience all that is skiing, not just jumps and rails.

Don't just ski park. Work on and develop a good overall skiing technique so you can get out and shred awesome steeps and pow

K2 fujatives, K2 silencers, or Line Invaders if your not clear on ski brands yet.. as for places to ski, ski at the mtn nearest you

oh and buy last years skis

thats what i do and you get brand new skis for alot cheaper b/c theyr last years and everyone wants this years so its a win win situation

whatever you do, dont buy ANYTHING from getboards.com

seriously, work you're acctual skiing skills as well as your park skills. You'll have a much easier time shredding the park if you acctually know how to ski

they dont get back to you and they arent very good in general. hit up jibij.com or tramdock.com for some legit service and prices

yeah, listen to this guy. I took an instructor training course and the tips they gave me on how to improve my skiing helped me a lot in the park as well, as far as stance and everything goes. When you are learning how to teach people you really have to look at your own skiing as well.

I've rollerbladed since i was like 3 or 5 or something, it is not the biggest transition bu you will have to have at least one lesson or something, skiing can get a lot harder to get really good at

right now im riding k2 juvies from my friend.... and i just went the hyland resort and i did pretty well i can go down the hills reall easy and i hit park and i learned to grind the boxes and rails and i hit a couple big kickers and did some grabs and 180's..... wiped out quit a bit and im pretty soar but it was fun as hell!! think i did pretty well for my first time....(thats wut i have been told)

I have a brand new, still wrapped, pair of '08 head mojo bk's the special editions size 172 that I would let go real cheap if your interested. Shoot me a PM
