UofU Orientation

Soo what is the deal with these? What one is the best to go to. I got into Pre-Buisness. Someone said the earlier orientations are better because you can pick your classes before all of the other freshman. So which one of these is the best?

Overnight.

Outdoor.

One Day.

Family.

Also is it better for me to go to the "general" orientation of one of these or the one specific to my intended major, ie "Buisness". Anything would be good! +karma thanks guys!

Overnight is kinda fun you get to stay in the dorms, but it doesn't really do shit for you, try to do it online if you can.

I'm planning on doing just a one day orientation or perhaps the outdoor orientation. Has anyone done the outdoor one? Was it fun?...worth doing it?

yeah if your coming from anywhere far away just do the online orientation thats what I did and it was perfect

yeah you just read these powerpoints then answer these really simple quizzes, then when you get to school you just go to this meeting i think that was like 3 hours and you get pizza and soda and shirts its mad easy

^ i didnt even have to go to a meeting.i just went in on a day that wasnt even assigned for orientation (because i got accepted late), and sat at the computer and did the little powerpoint thing.

online orientation was wicked easy. you just scroll through 2 slide shows and then you have to answer 5/6 questions after each section correctly

they don't link to it through their website anywhere because I guess they 'encourage' all students to do the real one in person if possible.. I had the link from when I did it but I don't know where that would be now. All you gotta do is call up the U orientation office or whatever and ask them and they will give you the address to do it online. Mmm k?

yeah they give you the link thats what i did.
