do you ever go into a park and theres little kids and old people jsut skiin over the landing and then the little kids go up the jump and turn down the landing and jsut ruin it completely? especially if you need to bomb the park to hit a jump its tough to get a clear path! I HATE IT

yeah man, its a bad problem. if ur seshing some jump, and its on a fairly mellow slope, then ull have to skate off the lift to clear it, and if theres some kid making a fort in the back of the takeoff, and u dont see him till ur 50 feet away from the jump,u just wasted a run. my solution:

point to some random person (outside the park) that is standing on the hill, and tell the kids that he's person is giving out candy, and thos kids will be out of that park in no time

yea some lady skied onto the landing of a jump i was hitting and we both went down pretty hard...then she tried to blame it on me next time i see some fucker on the landing i'm going to japan them in the dome

this year alone i have landed on like 3 little kids sitting on landings and hit like 4 old people in the park

yeah this weekend there were a ton of families taking nice leisure runs through the park, then they stop right on the lip of the jump, sit there for a bit, drop down sideways and ruin the lip, then stand on the landing talking for a bit.

A bad day skiing is better than a great day doing anything else
 
^ Well it could be blamed on the person standing on the landing. Because they are supposed to stop where they are visible from above and are not obstructing the trail.

haha where i go we have a big table with a blind landing, and i will send someone to clear it, but i was just running a session in the park and went over and theres three little kids just sitting htere and if i ladned on them i would hav ekilled them so i bailed out and crushed myself, so i screamed at them and called them a bunch of little fuckers. It happens everyhwere and its the most frustrating thing about skiing, that and those damn lift lines.

Virginia riding since a long ass time ago. Got the real east coast crud out here.
 
all the time. i just hate when people leisurely noodle their way thru the park like nothing's going on... and when children decide to hit the lips to rails and go off the side like a little jump. it's really annoying. it's like they have no idea what's going on, and their parents encourage it.

i hate gapers in the park too...but there is one upside to them. you get to yell and scream and swear at random people which is always kindof fun.

 
This old lady flipped out on my friends and said she was gonna pull their passes because she was standing on the landing of a jump and my friend almost hit her

 
yeah then all the racers go in and they pump the jump and totally ruin the lips and our jumps arent even that good to begin with then you throw in the little kids i always yell like "racers get out of the park" and then all these other people use the lift that goes to the park and dont go on the park thats pretty bad too and the thing that really makes me angry is that theres another quad right next to the park lift like seriously not 50 ft away

^it does matter, i dont think anybody should be in the park thats gonna do that. its just wrong. people get landed on and hit that way. theres other places to ski groomers.

well you have a good point that they can be there if they want to except that they have the whole other mountain to go and just ski but its only one or two runs that have a terrain park on them why should you go there if your not gonna hit the jumps or rails and the hill thats itson isnt even all that good of a carving hill

 
I almost sliced some guys head off hitting a 40 footer. I had no clue he was there. I was going for a 5 and after about 270 i saw him standing right in the knuckle looking at the scenery with his kid. Bailed in midair and the noses of my skis missed his head by about a foot. I was really pissed off cause i was on the ground in pain and he just skied away with his kid. Caught up with him in the lift line and gave him hell. Damn people like that should have their passes cut. Or their heads.

 
man, yesterday this girl cut me off like no other. i was so fucking pissed. i really wanted to hit her. i hit a big step down and wanted enough speed to clear the next hit and she totally...gah!

yeah you know what else bothers me is when ski p cuts you off in the terrain park thats just bad

 
completly agree with that, i think that if they arent gonna hit anything then they have no reason at all to be in there. there most likley gonna end up getting hurt or getting someone else hurt. parents should know better to keep there kids out of the upper level parks. they should be on the normal hills or in smaller park. ive had two things like this happen in the past month. 1) some little kid was bombing through the park flying off the side of the jumps and whatever, then came off a jump not knowing there was a handrail after it. the kid smoked his head on the rail and knocked himself out. so the park managers closed that rail for the night, cause that kid was a retard. 2) my buddy was hitting the last table on the south side park at tremblant, he did a 3 over the table and right when he was in teh air some little kid crossed the table and started skiing down the landing. my buddy was honestly 3 feet away from landing on the kid. i went and started yelling at him and his mom came and and blamed it on my freind.

That's why you need parks like at blue or whistler where u need to just pay $10 and get a park pass. It eliminates the shitty kids and old ppl cuz they don't wanna bother getting the pass to on something they shouldn't be on anyways. It also is better cuz those parks usually have lifts that just go in the park and it cuts down lift lines. It does kinda suck cuz u gotta sign and pay for shit but it helps those annoying little shits outta there

I was at nakiska this year and there were these little japanese kids with their parents on the landing of a blind stepdown table (this table is a monster it's like a 70 foot table, but the jump is about 25 feet tall with a tonne of lip so you go really fuckin high). I stopped at the side (don't worry no where near the landing) and i screamed at the jap family and they didn't speak english so they didn't know what i was saying. They all snowplowed down the landing and than some snowboarder hit it, and just about landed on one of the little kids. The kid would have died for sure. Than the parents started jap-bitching at the snowboarder as he rode away. it's scary to see someone almost die and it was pretty funny to. But god i feel for ya way to many old people take their kids in the park and shit.
