I'm confused when it comes to mounting skis, could you guys help explain the numbers? i.e -1.5 etc...
 
its just measurements in centimeters, relative to like midsole (recommended on most skis) or true center. + is forward, - is back.
 
get the marker schizo on them and get them true center mount. then on good pow days or all-mountain, put them like 1 or 2 back even 3 if you like that. then for jibs you can even put them forward. so just get marker schizos and ask for true center mount then you can change them up. but if you cant get the schizos (they are pretty costly) get them 1 back
 
It really depends on the ski. For instance, you should never mount a symmetrical ski anywhere but dead center. On a traditional park ski, around -2 or 3 would probably be fine. If you only want to dabble in the park every so often, maybe go back another cm or two. Armada park skis, for example, ski really well at -2.5.
