Unsinkable Skis

Whatcha got for an unsinkable ski? Like the tip just refuses to dive at all, into swallow tails but also jibby things. I’ve got some 184cm RMU whole enchilada’s which are like 130mm waist and I can still sink that tip. No fault to them, I just suck, but gimme some recommendations on more ways to waste my non-existent money.

are there many 120+ waist skis with a small radius for tight tree skiing in japan

The radius doesn't really effect the nimbleness of a pow ski the same way it does on hard snow. Look at reverse reverse type skis...still highly maneuverable in powder. Any reverse camber ski is going to be easy to pivot afaik.

Yes a nocta.

OP you are looking for a heritage labs FR 132. Or a DPS lotus 138. The 132 is better.

See there ya go...the Nocta has a 26m radius and still makes whatever kind of turns you want because the effective edge is like 80cm.

I ski a 190. Favorite ski of all time. They can be had cheap right now too online. BC released a new one for next year and it’s probably a clapped out piece of shit now that is cambered and essentially a bigger anima. So scoop the nocta now while you can.

I had the 185 for a couple years. Was a blast in anything softish, particularly slush and hot pow
