A lot of kids get the Northstar, Boreal, Alpine, or Squaw passes. Seems like most get N*.

northstar is so expensive, if you get a pass and ski ALOT it might be worth paying for, but if you have friends from other places its so expensive for them to get a day pass.squaw was like 350 for a season pass this year and you get a lot better terrain out of the park.

Double Whammy College pass is $289.http://www.northstarattahoe.com/info/ski/tickets-passes/season-pass.asp It's not expensive. The only drawback is the blackout dates, but no one in their right mind would want to ride there on a holiday weekend anyways.

you will be closest to Mt. Rose, it's like 20 or so minutes away. Their park isn't the greatest, but the "chutes" are absolutely epic on pow days.

if you're a little park johnny wearing skittle colors who rides to steeze hard and impress the snow-ho's ... go to northstar. if a 40ft cliff doesnt make you shit your pants go to alpine or squaw. boreal is decent early season and night riding for the price.
