Are you fucking kidding? You think it is worth some idiot redneck's gun collection in return for a couple school shootings. No other country in the world needs guns, whether they are pistols or fully automatic rifles, why is America any different? No one seems to be able to answer that question.

I know prohibition won't work, unfortunately. And that is exactly why "bad" words don't exist, a word can't be bad on it's own, it needs a context or a situation.

Re-read my post. I never said we "needed" guns, just that there are other reasons to own them other than committing mass murder.

Anyway...moving on. This stupid gun debate is not what the thread is about, and the majority of NS is too thick-headed to have a mature, intelligent conversation about anything anyway.

IN MY OPINIONNNNN, everyone should have to learn how to drive a manual transmission during their driver's training class.

Ugh this about the shooting, idk there's something wrong with me. I'm not glad it happened, I just don't care all that much. As for opinions, every US citizen has the right to buy whatever type of weapon they would like (minus automatics), I like jiberish, snap chat is really stupid, some people really are superior to others, not based on race or anything but in general as a person.
 
people should be allowed to purchase any guns, just not full auto, once they pass a background check

i dont think this is necessarly an unpopular opinion, just your personal opinion in certain situations. i like hitting rails, and am comfortable on most, but i am significantly more comfortable hitting a decently large cliff than a high consequence rail

i get if you want a semi auto for novelty at the range or hunting or whatever. but a full auto is overkill imo, and could make situations like the current ones exponentially worse

semi autos also make the situation worse than if it were just a bolt action. I just think it weird to use arguments against fully automatic weapons and then dismiss them when somebody says the same thing about semi automatic.

We are weakening the gene pool with modern medical advancements like glasses, surgery, vaccines and antibiotics. people who depend on these things for survival would be less likely to survive in pre-modern times and thus preventing their genetic flaws from getting passed on.
