LOL, you're already old! You think the way things are when you found your fun in an activity is THE way to have fun!
If you ever saw "Suzy Chapstick" (Suzy Chaffee) in form-fitting clothes doing the ORIGINAL freestyle skiing, you would have a tough job arguing baggy looks good. But then, since you probably only think you know what original freestyle clothing looks like, what does it matter?
If you think the fundamental nature of human aesthetics magically changes for freestyle skiing versus all other human activity, you have a burden to show that or else it all sounds like contradicting obvious truth. The fact is that well-fit clothes have been recognized throughout human history as better-looking, regardless of activity. The only thing "good" about a baggy appearance is an implied attitude (but do clothes magically change a person?).
The baggy clothes NEVER began as a look because it looks good. It looks like crap, even on skiers. As the population gets fat, people are pretending it looks good. It doesn't. Even fat people look better in properly-fit clothing, even when they are freestyling. Since freestyle started with well-fitted clothing and people look better in it (unless they have unattractive bodies), why can't you accept that?
