Unofficial Superunknown Semi/Final Edits

I forgot about Romera, he's fuckin dope and has an ill variety. At first I thought De Martin was the shoe in pick, then Brower came along and flipped my world on its head, then as if things could get any more confusing now Romera's in the mix. Any of those 3 would be a sick addition to Level 1 imo

So is it okay to enter a video with pretty much only pre-released footage, but not the same edit?

I'm not trying to be a dick, just for clarification.
 
It means that you can't release your super unknown edit until they do, not that you can't use footage from a previous season.
 
I believe that rule just means you cant drop your "superunknown" edit online before level 1 releases it online. Its completely okay to use any footage, used or unused and in this case pretty much all of the same shots/edit, it doesnt matter at all. They just don't want people entering superunknown in janurary and then dropping their edit before the finalists are announced.
 
No, just making a casual observation on the new culture. Yes i'm serious dude, look at these kids they're sick, they're invincible. Why bother wearing a helmet, what's the point if you're never going to crash on your head. Oh wait that's right, no one's perfect.
 
No it's not my place, but I sure can advise people from personal experience with concussions and such. I don't the backlash against safety man, that's just stupidity to me

 
Except helmets don't do much to prevent concussions.. Still think everyone should wear them though, but I don't care if people choose not to and I'm definitely not gonna hate if someone isn't
 
Level 1 just posted on instagram that Geoff won the 10th spot! Hell yeah, repping Ontario well!
 
Sick! The guy definitely deserves it. I'm going to guess Mitch wins it because his style suites level 1 so much. Him and Wiley would be a sick combo.
 
Lars is insane but he wouldn't fit in at all at level 1. Level 1 movies consist of urban, backcountry, and a jump shoot. Sure he'd have a few shots in the jump shoot, but nowhere else. Lars is a park skier which suites other movies much better.
 
Most Superunknown winners only get shots in park shoots for a few years anyways. But yeah I'd way rather see Mitchell win and then put out the segment of the year next year
 
You actually think Lars would fit in a level 1 movie? Think of the past few winners LSM got a sick urban segment last year, Logan has got segments the past few years. What would Lars segment be like? I've never seen an urban shot of him, level 1 doesn't film park rails, and he has some style on jumps but not more than a few shots every year. I'm sure they are looking for someone more diverse that can add the most to the movies.
 
And now he ski's at my mountain, I guess he moved up the foodchain.

Anyways, Brewer was fucking nuts.
 
that brower kid deserves it for sure, no question about it in my mind. if he doesn't take it, well, ill be surprised to be honest. crazy good entries this year for sure tho
 
To the people who thought that Brent wasn't picked as a finalist due to lack lack of urban, your theory in invalid...
