In a comp. What should be rated highest?:

Unnatural-tricks or switch-tricks?

Just wondering since I might be chosen to be judge in a competition soon. (The reason Im not in it, is my knee, its busted)

I can't double dirty ANYTHING, not even a 3. It feels about as right to me as getting jerked off by the left hand of a right handed MAN. In about 2 years I say double dirty tricks will be the true line between pro and am.

 
id say for an un-natural trick of 720 or more shoulod get scored higher than a switch natural trick up to 5. its really hard to say though, depends on how smooth it is, theres so many factors

 
switch is harder then unatural. I mean to bomb in switch takes more guts. Unatural takes more talent/finess. I guess its kinda equal.

i think unnaty is alot harder than switch spins. its just not easy to spot the technical difficulty like it is in a switch take off and landing

 
unnatural is far harder. incase you havent noticed, a lot more people can spin switch than can spin unnatural

 
switch is more of a crowd pleaser, but unnatural is harder for most people.

unnatural is hard as hell. if im a judge and a skier does a switch 7, and another does an unnatural 7, i score the unnatural higher

Sw unnatty isn't THAT hard. When I was starting switch stuff, I spun to the left and to the right. But I think my unnaty 180 are alot smoother than my normal 180 haha.

I'd say switch, cause if you have a dumb announcer, he may not even know your going unnaty. Unnaty is way harder though.

unnatural is harder, its much harder to make it look smooth. switch you can just spin your regular direction and itll look good

i spin left naturally but for some reason when i go switch it's much more comfortable for me to spin right i think im weird i dunno

for the kid who was talking about unnatural 180s. i think anyone can do those, it depends more about when you are spinning like 7's, thats when it gets harder

when is it that you'll only have one jump? why couldent you spin opposit ways one after another, set it up for a unatural odd spin to a switch natural?

 
switch unnatty is downright nasty, but switch alone is respectful and should be judged better than regular unnatty.

i always hear people say 'wen i'm going fakie, unnatty is easier!' but that means that that's your natural way of spinning for fakie tricks. you can't call something unnatural if its easier than natural.

 
unnaty should score higher.

i think unnaty is also easier switch.

so maybe switcfh unnaty should get less than unnaty.

spose it depends on the judges.

 
Lewski, unnatural spinning is to the side most difficult for you to spin to. As in all your tricks, not just one. For example a lot of people throw Unnatural Underflip 5's without throwing normal Underflip 5's because they can lincoln in their natural direction. It is still unnatural.
