Eric Pollard is the king of spinning both ways. In 'Yearbook' almost every trick he does he spins to the right. in last year's movies he spins both ways, but to the left more, and he air to fakie's on the right pipe wall, which suggests that he spins to the left (cuz then he can alleyoop natural spin on the left wall). whether he started off spinning to the left or to the right, it seems like now both sides are just as easy for him. o, and he's the king of style too.

yea the first year i skied i spun right and now i spin left whuch is a bit easier, but switch i spin right

Even though at a competition like the X games the skiers don't get as much credit for doing it as the BMX guys or In_line guys do it's still tough. A couple years ago Skiing hit kinda a brick wall with Tricks, the only thing new was how many times around you spun, pretty much all the different possible Axis' to spin on and still land on your feet had been done so people started looking for something new to make it more challenging. Unnatural spins were the way to go, now most of the Pros have at least an unnaty cork 3 or 5 in the bag however more and more are starting to throw switch unnaty stuff and bigger forward unnaty stuff. It's all a part of progression, it'll keep going that way till everyone has all 4 7's 9's or 10's. Rails as well, there's a bunch of guys who spent all summer working on getting all 4 270's onto rails. this year should be sick.

thats a bad generalization to make. to me its the other way around, i know way more people that grind left foot forward, but that still doesnt mean that 'most people' do it.

jf is the unnaty king. just watch 1242, he only spins 2 or 3 tricks naturally. his unnaty cork 5 safety near the end is heaven.

^^ trick difficulty and style all progressed at the same time to a certain extent. Once all the tricks had been done, people started to move into unnatural rotations, style grows with the tricks and the sport and style is what makes the pros pro. I'm sure there's a ton of people out there that can do cork 9 or even unnaty cork 5 or 7 the difference is that someone like Pollard or JF or Anthony all make it look good, pretty much the first time they do it.

true but I don't think unnaturel is important because, say a switch unnaturel 1080 is better then a switch unnaturel 10, i think its important to add flow in a park run or a even a line. that wasnt really a response to your comment but just thinking outloud.
