Unlocking cell phones.

Hey Ns,

Im sure its happened to someone else where you buy a new phone from a different provider and need an unlock code to use it with your sim.... well I have ethe same dilemma. I know you can buy codes online and I also called my service provider (fido) and the service the phone is locked under (rogers) and they wouldn't give it to me. My last resort is to pay but was wondering if anyone on NS knows how to do it and would be willing to get me a code somehow for mad Karma? cuz if those guys can figure out ur code they why do they charge when someone else could figure it out?

Call the carrier the phone is for. Exp..I have an att phone, I would call att and get the unlock code..But I have to have an account with them. They will give it to mo for free. If you dont have an account its faster to just go to a website and have them give you a code...
