anyone know of any good bands not to many people know about? i dont even mean like local just stuff not to many people hear of looking for some new music?

 
they were good, but when The Moon and Antartica came out, you could tell it was big label watered down stuff. its just not the same.

How about Elliott Smith? Seriously, he is the only good writer putting music out right now.

Also, check out The Nekromantix, taking psychobilly crazy. They are fucking good

 
modest mouse is dope. Or The Weaker Thans. if your in to hip hop or rap or whatever you wanna call it try Dialated peoples or jedi mind tricks or hieroglyohics. If you just want something to chill to check out Pinback or the shins. I dunno theres tons of good unheard of shit.

i prefer to jam to the good tunes such as an assortment of brintney spear, nelly furtato(seriously good shit), Backstreet boys, Nsync, and O-town.

strung out, no motiv, the movielife, built to spill, dashboard confessional (I've liked them forever, now chris is finally getting some recognition), the mr. t experience, pavement, ten foot pole, um, that should be enough. I know some of these bands are fairly known, but they still rock and a lot of people dont know them

 
Girlinky - They are brilliant band, formerly from NZ but now in London

Super Furry Animals!!!! - Now they are amazing, must listen to them coz they are rad.

GateCrasher - Well known in the UK but none of you fellas have heard them much, trance/disco, wicked as.
